LA Softball Coaches Association announces that the Winter Clinic will be held at:

9222 Burbank Drive,
Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
Speakers and program schedule to be sent out in early January. The clinic is free to all LSCA PAID members.
Reminder that dues must be paid by December 9th to have your name appear in the coaches directory which will be available at the clinic.
With the new school year underway, the LSCA website has been updated with the latest information available on important dates, updated forms, updated coaches information, updated softball information and listing for the new executive committee except All Star Selection Committee. The All Star committee will be selected at the upcoming Executive committee meeting to be held September 11, 2029. If you see anything needing updating, corrections and/or omissions feel free to contact Bennie Daigle at firstname.lastname@example.org.
At the July LHSCA Convention the LSCA membership elected new officers for the 2019-2021 years. The Executive officers serve two year terms. The following Executive officers were elected:

The LSCA/LHSCA Softball All Star weekend got started today – Friday. Game 1 started with the first pitch being thrown out by long time Hall of Famer – Kristal Franklin. The game ended in a 6-6 tie and Shelby Brown of Calvary Baptist was voted MVP of the game. See attached pictures of East and West All Stars and coaches..
The LSCA/LHSCA Softball All Star weekend continued on Saturday with the All Star Banquet and Game 2. The All Star Banquet featured the induction of Angie Little of Hackberry into the LSCA Hall of Fame. Felicia Hailey was presented the LSCA Distinguished Service Award. The two LSCA scholarship winners were: Kelly Russo of Central Catholic and Rylie Candella of Centerville High School.
Game 2 started with the first pitch being thrown out by new Hall of Fame inductee – Angie Little of Hackberry. The game ended with the East winning by a score of 10-9 and Briahna Bennett of Alexandria was voted MVP of the game.
